The beautiful, yet dangerous, Trial Island located off the shores of Oak Bay, BC, Canada. Home to many ship wrecks, the island is backdropped by the Olympic Mountains of Washington State, USA.

Island in the Cowichan Valley Regional district,
the Kinsol Trestle is the largest and most impressive
of the eight trestles along the trail line. This image
depicts the precision and intense labour involved in
producing this massive structure which spans across
the Koksilah River.
A long exposure time of eight seconds was
used to capture the symmetry of the two
buildings from a downtown Victoria alley.
The extended exposure blurs the overhead
clouds creating a dramatic grey ceiling.

This is a floathouse anchored in a bay in Uclulet, BC. The floathouse provides a moorage point for fishing equipment and supplies. Here, the fog is commonly intrusive when the sun sets.
